A world of texture and layers, acrylic paint, charcoal and pastel dance and blend together to reveal Mount Taranaki and it’s Kaitake Ranges. Sister mountain to Mount Fuji, with it’s iconic cone shaped volcano, he stands steadfast in his power to reside over and nourish our soils and it’s ground upon which lives unfurl. I never intended to paint a landscape, yet here we are, held in the arms of this that shelters and protects, nurtures and nourishes, despite also having the power to take it all away in any one moment.

Avoid touching the painted surface or textured mixed-media elements and handle by the edges or frame. Keep away from heat, moisture, and sudden temperature changes.
