Housed within the anciency
of this time space coordinate
lays the rich tapestry
of a thousand sunsets
innumerable new directions
a life time of community
it’s faces
their ideas
creations
relatingships
and dreams 
all cast in the stone
of their own creation
malleable 
only
to the source of their being
and the path laid out
by nature
always walking ahead
beating the drum
of that which dances
to it’s creative hum
unfurling
frond by frond
it’s own sweet tune

Many twists and turns
this painting took
from an industrial sunrise
to a monument of faces
from time on the easel
to many many months
in the pile
of that which may never see
a wall of it’s own

But it kept talking
calling out to me
seducing me back
with it’s sexy orders
cover me up
use the roller
I want more texture
now rub me in crimson
yes crimson no less
now cover that up too
I have another path
still to walk

And I just listened
and obeyed
trusted
and carried on

Now
inside all the layers
of this story
lays it’s own anciency
a history
that cannot be seen
will never be known
by anyone but me
and within that
lays the knowing
the teaching of this piece
that laying inside you
and inside me
and inside each of us
is every single moment
we’ve ever endured
succumbed
or risen to
that qualified us
for the unfurling
of the very next frond
which can only unfurl
once this moment
right now
has been fully purified
to be fully lived

to be fully loved
to be love itself
living the human
you know
as you
